This song was commissioned by Alexandra Williams, and dedicated to the memory of Arthur Walton who was a quiet but constant supporter of the Junior Choir, St. James' Church in Alveston, Warwickshire.

Song of Angels
This song was originally written for the Junior Chorus at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and was first performed at their Christmas Concerts in Symphony Hall. It was inspired by a tune which my father sang to me, one he was certain was sung by actual angels.
